I am experiencing some minor commitment issues- specifically, blogging commitment issues.
It's just that all the other commitments in my life are real, wonderful and ever present.
Faith, marriage, and the stewardship of being a mom take real commitment, and there is an element of relief when I can pretend that blogging doesn't matter and when neglected, there are no severe repercussions.
Except YOU... my dear ones. Will you leave? Will the number of comments completely diminish?
I hope not, but even if those are the consequences, this is how I feel about blogging lately-
Anybody else with me? Do you feel the pressure to blog because you are terribly afraid that if you don't you will lose all of your bloggy friends?

I LOVE YOUR WRITING!!
Thanks Tyne! You bless me!

Easy answer: yes. It's been very apparent to me over the past year and a half, if I don't comment, people will not comment back. Like you said, it's a community...
but Tyne, people will always come back to you when you reach out. Don't worry, relax and don't blog if you don't feel like it :)
Oh my goodness - you are my second bloggy friend to say that today. It must be the full moon. I do think blogging constantly can be a drain if you have an otherwise full life. I am working on some balance issues myself. Glad "Z" is here! I'll be praying for your peace and will not stop reading or commenting. You take time to care for the important things.
I feel your pain, every time I take a break from posting I think everyone has stopped reading our blog and have not inspiration to start again... and I have no where near as many readers as you my wonderfully real and encouraging friend!! I will say that your priorities are where they should be if blogging is not as high on the list as the other responsibilities I know are in your day :)
Know that I will always read your blog, no matter how long it has been since your last post because I love it!
The beauty of Google Reader (what I use to keep up with my friends - and other's - blogs) is that whenever you post, I'm sure to read it - no matter how long between posts. And for you Tyne, you have the gift of writing transparent, meaningful and funny posts that always get me excited when I see a new one for you! So I def won't stop reading and occasionally commenting on your blog :) I blog in spurts, too, so I totally understand the low priority of blogging for you right now! :)
Oh, and SS is just an hour from T, I believe it's north of Tyler. So depending on what side you are outside of T, it could be a little more or less than an hour. I told Micah I'd love to go visit you one day and just join in the chaos of 4 little ones with my 2!
Blogging is the easy part. It's getting to visit others' blogs that set me back. Although I see I'm not really THAT late with you this time.
How are you? I am trying to get back into visitng blogs! I love yours!
Uh, yeah! I'm so tired of blogging right now but wonder if I take a break, will I lose my new friends? Are they really my friends? I'm cutting back to a couple of times a week. At most. I hope.
Personally, I love your writing style. I am still following you so I will read you whenever you post. Even if it's next year.
Oh, the pressure of social life, real or virtual!
I actually appreciate your fewer posts! It makes me happy that catching up on my super fun Tyne blog reading is not such a daunting task as I was afraid it would be!
Thanks great post
