I'm Back

The week that I broke my laptop was very challenging and it was sad not having an outlet to share. I broke my computer on a Monday, and that same afternoon I called Caleb and gave him the top five reasons why he should have skipped Bible study that night. I would never intentionally discourage my husband's growth in the Lord, but this day proved to be very crazy...

#5- it's the day after mother's day and because I am a mom of three, I think you should have a day for each kid.

#4- Avery went "#2" in the yard and covered it up with her clothes so the baby chachalaca wouldn't play in it (we have a chachalaca family in our yard and Avery is very concerned with their well being).

#3- all the kids are sick and have been whining all day

#2- McClaine took off his dirty diaper in his crib during nap, wiped the excrement all over his walls, crib, dresser and then threw the diaper across the room. THEN, he took one of the books that was in his crib and wiped the excrement all over that and then shredded it to tiny pieces and threw it all over his room like stinky confetti.

AND

#1- I cooked an awesome Fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken and fresh green peas and bacon, and I would love for you to come home and enjoy it with me.

Caleb answered, "I am so sorry that I can't skip Bible study and come home, but will you save me some?"

To which I replied, "did you want me to save you some of Avery's **** or McClaine's ****?"

YESSSSSSS! So glad that you are back, what a rough day that you had right after Mom's day :( Makes motherhood look incredibly challenging... not that I ever thought it was a breeze...

HAHA!!! I'm not the only mom that has a child who plays with POOP!!! I've gone in several times to get Noah up from a nap to find his poop all over the crib and toys and pillows... he too likes to throw his diaper and any other nice chunks across the room. I one day found he climbed up on the coffee table, took off his clothes, pooped right on top of the table, then proceeded to smear it all over the table. Then he tried to wipe it off of his hands all over the couch and carpet. It was one of THOSE days I thought I was going to go insane. So thank you for sharing your crazy mommy moments too... it makes me feel much better :)

Tyne, you are a rock star mom! It was great to see you back here in the valley again. Sorry it was such a short trip! And of course sorry about all the poop-capades! Great reply to Caleb. Not sure that Ben would have gotten away with that one!!

You make me laugh out loud! Addison takes off her diaper every time I change her so I can only imagine what's to come. We miss you guys and can't wait to see you next time we are all in Longview!

Tyne...you poor thing. I know my day of poop covered walls is coming. I hope that my attitude is as good as yours :) You crack me up. I am glad you have your computer again.

(I have some weird pregnancy induced low platelet condition...we are waiting to see if they are falling drastically like they did with Carsen). I don't know the name though. What was yours like?
