Funny Avery-isms

Avery looked at me the other day when I was questioning her block building skills and said, "Mom, have I ever scared you wrong?" No Avery, no you haven't...

We walked into a restroom at a restaurant at the beach and she had a disturbed look on her face. She said, "mom, this bathroom is not beautiful, it is painted black (the stalls), and that is not fashional."

Believe it or not, we had our first bathtub accident the other night. Avery is three and McClaine is two, and we have made it through bath time with two children and bath toys as the only solid objects in the water until the other night. Caleb was bathing the kids and McClaine turned around to see what was going on down under. Avery looked at him and said, "brother, that is disgusting!" Caleb pulled McClaine out of the tub and stuck him on the toilet where he finished his business. Of course Avery and Caleb celebrated his accomplishment and as McClaine did his victory dance, he started pumping his arms and cheering, like a fan at a playoff football game. It got him so excited he started pooping all over the floor!

My daughter's new liner is, "Don't worry, Mommy."

Happy POW!!

I remember taking a bath with my baby sister when a log went floating by, lol. I've been scared of that happening again ever since.

Kids say the BEST stuff.

Too funny. We luckily also haven't had many incidences of hard objects in the tub other than the bath toys. When it happens here it's never been all that fun or exciting though ;).
