Thank You For My Lord, Thank You For My Fashion

Aves cracked me up when she got home from school yesterday. She was wired. So excited about Jesus, and school and chapel. I wish that we hadn't changed into play clothes so you could see how cute she is in her little chapel outfit that she has to wear on Wednesdays.

Here's a short video of her song that she was singing when she came home. I wish I had captured more of it on video, because she was praisin' God for EVERYTHING. "Thank you for my Lord, thank you for my mom, thank you for my husband, thank you for the earth, thank you for my crafts, thank you for my sister, thank you for my cross, thank you for my fashion." It was awesome. Then she wanted me to wave my hands and sing back-up for her. "Jesus is Lord, King of Kings."

Okay, please don't mind the mid-drift shirt, and the fact that my son is still in his pj's at 3:30, and that he has a pink boa. That is how we rock it around here.

On a completely different note, I want to thank you for your continued prayers for my friends, The Burrells. You can read their most recent update here. I also appreciate your prayers for my sweet sister-in-law, Leigh, who miscarried on Sunday. My heart is so grieved for them all. It is a sad season for so many that I love, I am praying that God is renewing strength and reassuring these dear people by His good, perfect and comforting love.

I am looking forward to your boots post. Andy and I looking forward to Audrey getting her first pair of pink boots from Rios. Maybe in the next year or two. We miss you all too! How are you feeling? I have been praying for you. You are one super mom.

So cute! Love the way your son is rocking the pink boa. We do things the same way around here.
Still praying for your friends and their peace in this situation. I will add your SIL to my list as well. Those are both really difficult situations to deal with.

They are so adorable! Isabella came crawling up to watch the video--she had a huge grin on her face the entire time!
So sorry for the loss of your sister in law. I will add her to my prayers.

Haha.... looks like our boys would enjoy playing dress up together!

And the leg warmers rock! They keep his knees protected from rug burn while crawling, he gets really cold easily too, and plus they are just plain adorable! The 80's are back in style!

Awwww...I love hearing little voices praise the Lord! She's adorable! My oldest goes to a private school and they have chapel every Wednesday, also - I LOVE seeing all the little ones dressed up in their chapel attire. It's really precious!

Oh, and pj's at 3:30 - that's how we roll over here!

Tyne! Love it! Sounds just like my Ellie who started school this year as well! I heavy hearted for your friends as well as your sister in law. I am well acquainted with the pain that comes from losing a baby early-through miscarriages. We have a full house on earth and 4 in heaven. The agonizing situation your friends the Burwells are in is just heart-breaking. The scriptures that come to mind for both families are Psalm 3:3 and Ps.145. Cord and I will be praying for the Lord will wrap them tightly in His mighty arms of comfort and grace. Praying also for you and your baby!
