Christmas Ponderings

Just a few things I have been pondering...
I haven't completed my shopping, nor have I really started. But I have decided to go ahead and buy the kids batteries for Christmas. That way, they can see how the dozens of toys already in their possession really work.

I was bummed when I got my Christmas Cards in the mail yesterday, finally... When I opened the package from Snapfish, the 100 5x7 cards that I had created on Photoshop were cut-off at the bottom. Sadness, especially since it is too late to send them back. I checked the proof from my Snapfish account and it looks like it was their mistake. What wasn't their mistake was the typo that Caleb found when he was stuffing them in the addressed envelopes. For those of you that won't be receiving one by mail, you can catch the same error on my banner/header. First one to comment on it will be my best bloggy friend. Or should I say, "thank you for not mentioning it already."
I will be starting a very fantastic give-away tomorrow... to spread the Christmas love. See you then.

Sorry about your cards! They have character, at least. :) And I love the picture of your sweet family.

I think you are missing an "us" but I NEVER noticed (I'm the person that would tell you)!!

Sorry about your cards. I hate how they show you a display of what you are getting, but it is never printed that way.

Next time you do a card, add 1/4 of an inch on each side that is sort of your "bleed" because it will likely be cut off...so you don't put anything important there.

Your card looks great...I bet nobody else notices either!

I'll be back for your contest...I'm due to win something soon!

Bummer they did that :(

The cards are still cute and I am betting no one will notice!

I had to look really hard to find the missing "us." Don't worry--people won't notice!

Great card by the way....way cuter than mine!!

I agree. I had to totally search for the missing word. And by the way, at least is wasn't Jesus or God, that was wrong!!

I still think they are cute, and in the hustle and bustle of the holidays no one will even notice!

oh good - someone else who buys crazy amounts of Cmas cards! We did 90 this year and I questioned that the order might have been too big, but we used em all! Also, I had to read your card twice SLOWLY to find the error - it's not very noticeable at all.

That card is beautiful and I wouldn't have even noticed if you hadn't said anything... Sorry about the Snapfish Snafu. ; )

Oh that's a bummer about the cards! I'm sorry...I hate it when things like that happen, especially when you work on them for so long. As far as the typo goes...the way I see it is that a typo is confirmation that you're real and not a robot generating things...although, robots make mistakes, too. The photo is wonderful!!! Gorgeous family!

Oh Tyne! Don't worry about your cards! Your sweet family totally makes up for any mere spelling error! I LOVE reading your blog. It is so nice to hear your news. I'm fairly new to blogging, and I really need a template update. Any recommendations? -your distant cousin, Katie Means :)

What a cute card you created. I would be shocked if anyone noticed the typo since most people will assume all the words are there since it is a familiar phrase.
Merry Christmas to your beautiful family!

It took me 3x (looking for a mistake!) to figure out that you are missing the second "us". Love the card. Working on my post for the giveaway.
