O Christmas Tree

The kids did a lovely job decorating the tree on Saturday night. This section of the tree is, by far, the most festive.
It still looks festive today. I don't have the heart or the energy to re-decorate. 'Tis the Season.

I love it. I wouldn't change a thing.

But, I'm curious...what is that big silver package-y thing?

Awwww how incredibly sweet. It looks awesome! I don't think I'd have the heart to redecorate either...or the stamina, especially this time of year! And, I bet they had a blast putting every single thing on it.

That's cute. I like the paper chain. I use to love it when we'd make those in school.

You have more restraint than me. I wouldn't be able to leave it like that, although it definitely has personality. I am sure they are overjoyed at their creation and your willingness to let them do that.
I just chose not to put one up since we won't be here for Christmas and Mia is not only crawling but into everything. And, everything goes into her mouth. Better safe than sorry.
