Not Me! Monday... Reluctantly

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I am not reluctantly posting this Not Me! post after heading over and seeing that 393 other people have jumped on the Not Me! bandwagon, and I would rather be original, than number #394, but am just too dang tired. Not Me!

I did not save all my birthday money to pay for a cleaning lady to come two times before quatro is born because I am just too dang tired to nest, though the urge is there. Nope, Not Me.

I did not get the most wild, gorgeous and Kick A$$ boots from my husband for my birthday.

I did not relish in the 20 minutes without children, hooked up to the fetal stress test, by finishing my book club book... in peace.

I did not feel super discouraged when my OB told me that I wasn't measuring big enough and drive thru Chick Fil-A... and I certainly did not order a 8 pack of nuggets, with waffle fries and lemonade and a peppermint milkshake to expand my huge belly even more.

You bet I did not finish it before I got home so I wouldn't have to share with the kids. Not a chance, Not Me!

And I most certainly did not put Audrey down for a nap that she didn't need, just because I was too dang tired to make it through the afternoon with three kids.

I did not make Caleb a fabulous dinner at the very last minute, so I would not feel guilty about letting him bathe the kids, put them to bed and wash the dishes while I sit here and blog about all the things I did not do today, while I am not watching the gross "overnight episode" of The Bachelor. Not Me, baby! Not Me!

I have been known to go thru the Chick-Fil-A drive thru and spell out m-i-l-k-s-h-a-k-e, so that the big ears in the backseat wouldn't know what I was getting. I can totally get why you would deserve to finish all your food before you got home!

Am I the only one not on the Not Me Monday bandwagon?!

Er, wait a second. How am I suppose to work Not Me Monday things??

Maybe I should have said:
I am NOT the last person on the NMM bandwagon.

Shoot. I'm confusing myself.

I soooo would have eaten the whole meal, too! Yum! Keep packing on those pounds (although I imagine it's sometimes hard to eat while chasing the others around)!

And, still original (and I'm not coming from MckMama this time)!

As the mother of 3, pregnant with #4, you are most certainly allowed all these "not me"s. :) And don't worry about not "measuring big enough"- a healthy baby is all that matters, big or small.

Sorry you didn't get those boots. Oh wait... ; )

Chick Fil A is so good. Next time get one of their shakes too!

Great Post, I didn't watch that awful show either! I don't know how those women can do that! And I missed NMM all together, but ya know there is always next week!

Tyne, I'm glad to hear it! Maybe Wyatt and I will come down there and clean your house, and entertain your kids for you so you can do some more "not me" stuff!
