Trusting

I am finding that the Lord is testing us in deeper ways to trust in His provisions.

In my last post I explained how we are closing on our house down here on 6/15. We finally found tenants for our house in Colorado, which we assumed was the green light for Caleb to give notice at his job so we could move closer to Caleb's parents in East Texas.

Well, we now have 85% of our house packed up, our friends are throwing us a going away party tonight and we plan on leaving in 9 days. But our new tenants in Colorado are also having some testing from the Lord in the area of faith...

The day after Caleb gave notice, they notified us that they had a medical concern that may cause him to lose his job, and that they may not move in after all. They are living out of boxes, also waiting on the Lord to see if he has clearance to continue with this new job and move into our house.

We have also learned from our realtor down here that our house may or may not close.

So if you are the praying type, would you please ask that we would trust the Lord for His awesome provision and timing. We believe that He is good and desires good things for us. As our possible tenants reminded us, "What we do know is that we expect only an ultimate good from this for all of us --- because God is good!"

Thanks.

We'll be praying for you and the family that is supposed to be renting your house. We hope you get to move and it will all work out. God always comes through, but He seems to be interested in stretching us more than we want at the time. Please keep us in your prayers as well; business is very slow where I work and we're looking for God's direction as well.
His Peace,
Josh White
