There Will Always be Fireworks on Her Anniversary

You would think that our Fourth of July holiday would start out relaxing. It was a relaxing morning for some... Others, however, were dressing a lovely flower girl and primping a blushing bride.Today Margaret Elizabeth White married Joshua Keith Perry. There will always be fireworks on her anniversary.
We are thrilled for you, sister! And so thankful for this beautiful covenant gift from the Lord. Welcome to the family, Josh, I am quite certain you will love it!And for those extended family and friends who are slightly stunned by this news, here's the story...
When Josh and Margaret got back from their trip to Africa, they were sure they were going to get married. Margaret had applied with several agencies for a travel nursing position and they were waiting until she got hired before they would get married (you know, so they didn't have to move in with her parents and her brother and his wife and four children...)
A couple weeks ago, they went to Josh's sisters wedding in Utah and on the way back she got a job offer from an agency that wants her to move to Honolulu- and start this Wednesday! Well, naturally she couldn't go without her fiance and they didn't want to wait to get married when she got back, it just wasn't an option. So she planned her wedding in a week and they will leave tomorrow for Hawaii (for a mini-honeymoon before she starts work on Wednesday).
It was a gorgeous and low-key wedding- no music, no bridesmaids or groomsmen, no seating charts, no stress. Just a handful of loved ones and two people who are looking forward to a life of glorifying the Lord together through their many adventures!
Oh, and there were a few kids there too. Mostly mine, but a couple others to play along with.

Many blessings to you, Margaret and Josh. We love you so much and know that There Will Always Be Fireworks on Your Anniversary!

That picture of Caleb and McClaine is the BEST, with the arm behind the head! Avery looks like she is taking her flower girl job VERY seriously-I was a flower girl for my Aunt Debbie when I was just a little bit younger, and I was a total wreck, even though I've never been one to be shy. Clearly, Avery is a pro! I loved your Mom post, btw. I wish that we got to see each other more frequently-would love to know your sweet family better!
