They Call Me The Fireman

Audrey peered out the window on the way downstairs from her nap and excitement encompassed her entire being.
"Look! There's mommy's firetruck!"
Note to self: invest a little more time teaching vocabulary words to third child, because though I may drive like a fireman, my Odyssey is definitely not equipped to put out a fire.

Today is the official "DELURKER DAY," so for all of you that still read this blog, please leave a comment and let me know you are here. For every comment to this post, our household will donate $1 to Samaritan's Purse to provide relief for the devastation recently experienced in Haiti. And if only two of you leave a comment, we promise to give more!

I love reading your blog! Your stories of your kids crack me up! :)

Also I love reading how much you love being a mom... and yet are honest about the struggles... makes me look forward to that chapter starting for me one day!

OK so I have only left one comment in the whole time that I have been reading your blog and it's been a while. I so enjoy reading the stories of your kids because it makes me feel like my kids and I are normal. :) I guess we are mainly bonded through Margaret and through both of our firstborns being named "Avery." I will stop lurking and make myself known! ~Cheyenne Alexander

I know you know I read your blog but I think that's a great idea about your giving to Samaritan's purse for each comment! I love your blog so much b/c you're real, funny and so transparent about your walk with the Lord!

Hey Tyne! I guess I'm bordering on "lurker" since I haven't commented in a while. I'll try to do better :) Happy Delurking Day!

Not a lurker, but leaving a comment for the donation.

I'm doing the same. Come by and leave a comment.

I have fallen off the blogging bandwagon a bit, but I try to read yours when I can because it is encouraging! Thanks for taking the time to write!

Your blog inspires me and reminds me to be more grateful for all the little things that drive me crazy but are blessings in disguise. I am Justin Kirkland's wife and your mom was our realtor for one of our properties. Thank you for writing and for being such a powerful presence in my life!

I am a little late for delurking day but I found you through the Poehl's blog and love to read about your fun family. You make the craziness of mommyhood seem easy and I love that you find blessings in the little things.
