I am sure y'all have been chomping at the bit, just dying to know where Avery was going to kindergarten this year. Well maybe you haven't, but let me tell you, I have! Up until yesterday at about 2:00, it was still undecided. We were waiting to hear back from Good Shepherd to see if she got a scholarship, meanwhile Caleb was thinking of how he could pull some strings to get Avery into the same kindergarten that he and his sisters went to (we live just barely out of district and found out just weeks ago that they weren't taking any transfers).
Well, yesterday in the midst of a very empty WalMart, deserted as most children filled classroom seats, I got the call. Avery received a partial scholarship and McClaine received a full scholarship, as they were needing higher attendance in Jr. Kindergarten.
Needless to say, he was not quite as thrilled to be starting school today!
