Hoping I Can Be As Good of a Mommy as She Is

My mom is, and always has been exceptional at mothering.  Always nurturing, always compassionate, encouraging, motivating, generous… she never took short-cuts and knew that loving discipline and correction would pay off.  She also took such joy in the art of motherhood that I always looked forward to being a mommy myself.Chicago 016And now I am, times FOUR!  I hope and pray that my children see that same joy in me and that they look forward to parenting as much as I did.  November 003Thanks for the great example, mom!
