We’re back! We made it back from a glorious time in the West Texas Davis Mountains- gathering with loved ones, being challenged through God’s Word and kicking up dust in our boots. How fantastic is this photograph by my friend Laura? She is a peach and I am so thankful that she did a photo shoot of our family and one for Anderson Bean Boots. Don’t they make the greatest kids’ boots? The company which is named for my two great grandmothers, is a Texas Company and Texans know boots!
We were really encouraged to spend more time in prayer as we learned from godly men in the great tabernacle. And we were given the opportunity to put it into practice as our family came down with a nasty stomach flu toward the end of the week, making our 600 mile trip back even longer! Don’t even get me started on the laundry. I usually have 6 loads to do when we come back from camp meeting because there is so much rolling around in the dirt, but with the puking episodes, you can easily add three more loads to that.
So for now, I am off to “warsh,” comfort sick babes, and maybe edit a photo or two!

Sounds like a wonderful week. Sad that Ryan and Beth couldn't make it :(
This next generation of boot wearers are so very cute! I love it! I'm sorry about the sickness. We missed Avery yesterday in art class!
