Don’t you adore this vintage apron that my sister-in-law picked up in Canton the other day (for a dollar!)?
We have had so much fun with Aunt Margaret,
the kids adore her (although they asked several times why Uncle Josh couldn’t leave “college” and come visit too).
If you had a vintage apron this cute, you might never take it off.
But I am hanging up the apron and temporarily resigning from the post of short-order cook,
teacher,
nurse,
boo-boo kisser,
potty training coach,
snuggler,
storybook narrator,
& mediator…
And heading to Chicago for a few days with my mom!
Won’t be taking the apron on this trip no matter how cute it is.

Have a great, relaxing time and just know that the apron will be waiting when you get back home. My kids were always more appreciative after missing me for a few days!
I love vintage aprons. It's the one thing I wish I'd grabbed of my Great Grandma's when she died- I have so many memories of her wearing it. That's what I think about when I see these aprons- all the history that must be behind them! Have a super wonderful trip.
Ooooh, Chicago! I hope you're having fun!! :D
And yes, precious aprons!
