Monday's Musings

Things you just may not be interested in:

I had two strangers approach me (seperately) at Wal-Mart this weekend and ask me when I was due. Now that is just mean. I have my mummy tummy from Audrey, and am only ten weeks pregnant- At least I could give them a due date :)

I am craving Kalamata Olives, Jules Destrooper Almond Thins and sleep.

I washed and folded 7 loads of laundry this weekend. Four more loads await me. Then I have to put them all away. Nothing says "All Free and Clear" like a week of your kids rolling in the dirt in West Texas.

I was strongly convicted by this post. In particular the part regarding no TV at her house. It is raining today, I only got four hours of sleep tonight ** edit** last night (see I told you I was tired- I even proof read)**, but I resolved not to turn on the TV at all today (and the kids are playing so dreamily in the playroom, with toys they haven't seen for months).

The Lord is teaching me much about loving Him through the passage in John 21:15-20. Did you know that in the original language, there are two different words used for "love?"

Click on this link, and look at the words "love" as used by Jesus and Peter, in the original language (by clicking on them). Make sure you look at all of them. The third time Jesus asks a different question, which really grieves Peter. Leave me a comment as to what the Lord taught you through this passage.

More to come on this later!

Love is something that everyone says but does not always mean. Love to me means that one has a very deep feeling for another being.

I can not believe that someone asked when you were pregnant. What nerve.

i hate tv, when i'm at home with the kids we never have our television on. But i find that when I'm not home with them , that it's always on. I had never thought of getting rid of it!!!
But then i'd have to entertain Javier. LOL love, vicky

Tyne, congratulations on expecting your fourth! I can't wait to have my first...only 2 more months now. I will deliver here in Switzerland, which I would have been scared to death about our first year here, but I am feeling good about it now, after having lived here awhile, having improved my French, and having known some friends who have had babies here, as well.

are people really that stupid...

apparently- because someone asked me that a couple of weeks ago too- I'm STILL crying (with my ice cream melting in my hand)...

Huh. I did not know the different versions of love were used in this specific passage.

Now, will you come help me with my laundry?

Wow--you are almost done with your first trimester. I have a love/hate relationship with the TV. bravo to you for keeping it off; I don't think I could right now :(

I love your blog you know.

Hey at least you could give a due date. Rude people are so, well, rude! I would never ask anyone that unless it was glaringly obvious they were pregnant.
