Our Ever Growing Family

Three children, three and under is a lot of work.

And so when Caleb said he wanted another little one to add to our family, I thought, "no way."

I already have plenty of mouths to feed, and poop to clean up.

But he said, "Oh, you know how they entertain each other."

Really? Do they now?

But somehow, he changed my mind.

So this weekend, we brought home our newest addition, "chocolate." Say it with a spanish accent. Or, call her "doggy," like McClaine does.
This wonderful gift from my dad, PaII, is precious. She is incredibly mellow for a lab puppy and is very obedient so far. But that was part of the deal. I told Caleb that if he was to get his wish, then we would get a dog from one of my dad's breeders and the dog would live with my dad for the first couple months to have some training. She has been a peach with the kids and they love her. She also did great on the twelve hour car ride home from Ft. Davis, where we met my dad and the dog at Camp Meeting. Now, for those of you who were thinking we had another baby to add to our family...

That won't happen until March.

Do you believe it? Four arrows, what a quiver-full!

Psalm 127:3
Behold, children are a gift of the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward.
127:4
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth.
127:5
How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They will not be ashamed When they speak with their enemies in the gate.

HOLY MOLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!

One of my very best friends has four kids. She says four is fantastic! She says the hardest transition is from one to two kids...after that, it's all easy.

I'll just have to take her word....and yours...for it! :)

Congrats!!

Congratulations twice! We had a lab and just loved her. We sadly lost her and are now puppy-less, but hope to get one soon.

P.S. We loved England. We have only been back home for a few weeks and are still adjusting to being back in the U.S.
