The aches and pains that went through my entire body on Sunday morning were unreal. Now before you go judging the pregnant lady, let me explain.
A 30-something mother of three must have quite a tolerance built up to have a fun night out on the town if she does not wish the repercussions the next morning. I really didn't have an ounce of alcohol on Saturday night. And let me tell you, I felt terrible on Sunday. My whole body hurt. My feet were throbbing, my back was sore and my head was swimming.
You see, when you spend the majority of your life in lounge clothes (or pajamas) and tennis shoes, and then try to do a 6 hour stint in high heels, it will make a grown woman cry.
But we had a great time getting dressed up and going to Harvest Night!

At least you looked great doing it!
i agree with krystyn!!
you look awesome :)
high heel hangover - totally worth it!
You looked great!
I hear you on the high heel hangover though.
I sang in my friend's wedding on Saturday and was wearing 3 1/2 inch heels for a good 6 hours. When we were leaving I took my shoes off because I just couldn't walk one more step in them. I swear I was limping. I walked outside to the valet in no shoes and the guy gave me a strange look. After all, it is pretty much winter up here now. I explained that I just couldn't do it anymore and the cold ground actually wasn't cold enough to ease the pain in my feet. But, I guess the pain was worth the look.
But you still managed a beautiful smile :)
I just try to wear heels a lot that way my feet are just used to it ;)
Glad you got to be all fancy for one night. You look amazing!!! Glad you had an amazing time. Wish you did not have the high heel makeover.

You look beautiful!!!!
Tyne, everyone is right--you look great! Love that dress.
Everyone is right - you looked great! I can relate to the high heel hang over - I always travel with my trusted pair of flip flops in my bag :)
These are the times when you wish you were rich and could afford those heels Clinton and Stacy talk about! You know, the ones that cost a fortune, look great and *feel* like your walking on air!
Thank you so much for the kind and supportive comment you left on my blog. It was very much appreciated.
I am enjoying exploring your blog and learning about your beautiful family!
I'm not pregnant, and I can't go six hours in high heels without feeling the excrutiating pain the next day! Glad you had such a good time- you both looked great!
Looks like fun. Cute post title!
Awwww.... look at how sweet you are. So stinking CUTE!
You look absolutely beautiful! I don't even know where my high heels are anymore...probably in the back of the closet with my pre-baby jeans. By the way if any of those people that looked in the jar want to give me a call to let me know what he/she is, you can give them my number!
Love you!
Hi! I found your blog from Not A Girl, Not Yet a Woman. You are a terrific writer! I love that Howard Stern video (even though I totally don't like him). If you don't mind, I'd like to add you to my blog roll. Leave me a comment if that's okay with you. I'll definitely be visiting you again :)
