The Big Winner

This is not a post about Barak Obama. Yes. He was a winner at the polls.

But the winner from the "Conquering the Witching Hours" Contest is...

Here is your sequence:

Dana! Of Mommy Madness

The prize package includes- rainbow beads, glitter sticks, drawing pad, coloring and activity pad, bubbles, stickers, 24 piece wooden block set, washable tempera paint, spray bottles, shower curtain (see Katrina and Auds comment on painting- the shower curtain is in case you don't want to paint your dog) and Laurie Berkner Band's Rocketship Run... for some dancing around! Congrats Dana.

Just so you know, if you had more than two entries, I deleted one.

I've got a confession, I am glad to get the witch off of my blog. Not just because Halloween is over, but because I am really not into the Pagan thing. My whole goal of this contest was to Conquer the Witch, to generate ideas to help me with this really tough time of day. This is the time of day when I have a hard time glorifying the Lord, because I am tired, and grumpy and overwhelmed by the tasks and needs that must be fufilled. I really want to be a great mom, to leave my children with an AWESOME spiritual legacy, and to glorify the Lord in doing so. I want to make a difference in their little lives. I want them to enjoy these hours and see that mommy can walk according to the Spirit of Christ which dwells within me.
Thanks for blessing me with all of your ideas!

I am right there with you on the conflict of to participate or not to participate. On the one hand, I like to do things with my friends to celebrate the fall season...but at the same time I don't want anything to do with Halloween itself. We participated in a costume party this year, but we tried to make it clear to all that it was a FALL celebration only.

What a great package...congrats, Dana!

The witch thing is a little weird to me, too, but I know that it has nothing to do with your beliefs!
