Deer Stands- Not the Place to Prepare for Photo Sessions

I frantically laid the outfits out on Friday night. Family photo shoot on Saturday morning- the first for our family since Avery was 3 months old. That means that our family has increased by three people since then and my pants have increased by three sizes.

Putting ensembles together for 6 people, only two of which can fully dress themselves is extremely challenging. Especially when you are on a tight budget and have four family's hand-me-downs to work with. So I started with one dress and built the rest around it. I tried really hard not to get too matchy, and not be too clashy, without looking trashy. And then he said it.

"I'm gonna get up really early and sit in the deer stand in the morning."

Oh, really? REALLY?

And so he did. And thus began a fun, family, photo-shooty weekend. I'll try to link up the pro shots when they are posted.

In the meantime, here are some funny pics from our stop at the pumpkin patch and later painting pumpkins in the backyard, and later crashing in front of a movie!

Your family is precious no matter what they wear! If your pro pictures turned out as good as the pictures you posted then you should have some great ones!
