My baby girl turned SIX this weekend.
In keeping with the great inspiration of Lorelai Gilmore,
I tucked her in bed the night before
and proceeded to go into dramatic details
of the watermelon sized bundle that I could barely contain
And how for 4 days straight I labored
without a wink of sleep
Waiting for that precious girl.
So it was fitting to have a big party for her!

And I thought I was the only one who did the Lorelai thing?!?! My poor kid - he has to sit through a half hour of me reliving the fact that he kinda-sorta fell out of mommy as she was trying to get to the hospital bed!
