New Word: effectional
Avery: (trying to stick a suction cup toy on the window) It is not very effectional. This just won't stick on here. It is not very effectional.

New use of the word confused
Me: Avery, I really like your new manicure
Avery: Thanks. I just need a new color. This color is so confused.
Me: What do you mean that color is confused?
Avery: Well, it just keeps moving around, the bottle, I try to dip in the brush but it is so confused.
Me: Would you like pink instead?
Avery: Um, yes, that will be more proper, not so much confused.

At least she is trying!
~Elyse~
Pink is ALWAYS more proper ;)
What a princess! I think she is one in the truest sense of the word....not a spoiled brat, but well behaved, elegant, excellent vocab and the expressions on her face! What a doll I have for a niece! Wyatt wanted me to tell McClaine, "Hi!".
Love it! Reminds me of those cute "Fancy Nancy" books. I bet your daughter would get a kick out of those and all the big words she uses.
That is so funny and cute! I love when they try new things.
(I see you still have your word verification, didn't you see Barking Mad today? Just kidding...not really)
I do think Pink is more Proper!!!
Cute story!!
Too funny.
It always makes perfect sense to them.
I will miss these priceless things they say when mine are bigger.
Adorable!! I love to see little vocabularies expand. It's highly entertaining.
Today Finn said "dat boy was stinkin!" After a little diggin I realized he meant "mistaken", as in "dat boy was wrong!"
Cracked. Me. Up.
Thanks for popping by the HH for POWs. I hope to visit more often!
Thanks for stopping by!
What cute kiddos you have.
I love all the cute things kids say when they are learning new words!
Awwwwww sweet! I wish I had the forthought to write stuff like that down. But until I get it together enough to do that, I'll just keep coming back here and reading your adorable little ones Avery-isms!
Awww -- she sound so sophisticated and . . . well, proper!
What creative new word usage. I just love when they say things like this. Makes me forget about the temper tantrums and whining for a little bit.
